Hollow Mirror

Mirrors are commonly used for looking at ourselves, for seeing self in an outsider’s point of view; and we use mirrors at least once everyday. To observe our reflection on a daily basis so often, turns it into an ordinary experience. Hollow, aims to put a new perspective to this experience by creating a momentary diversion through an illusion.

A metal circular frame acts as a stand for the mirror and creates a deception as if it is floating in the air, by a well hidden connection detail. Hollow, adds a simple illusion to a well established everyday object, a mirror, turning it into an object of desire as well as a functional good.
